Dhaka 3

21/12/2014 - yeah a year older and prayed to Allah for a healthy life, wiser

and become a good servant to Him...

........................................................................................................................

Day 2 - Had our breakfast at the inn and today we have a lot in our agenda..
We're visiting some interesting places, historical and shopping..

We straight away make our move to Old Dhaka...
Yeah stucked in traffic jam for quite awhile because its time
for all of the people to go to work (at least thats what been told to me by our tour guide)
Entering Old Dhaka its more crowded...

Some pics while we're on the road.. Like i said in my prev post, it was the craziest and the busiest road i've ever seen.. Packed with people, vehicles, even animals are on the road... Something to reminds me of Dhaka..

Ok back to the story. We visited the Pink Palace aka Ahsan Manzil (u can search for it in the net). Wow!!!!

I'm actually jumping on the stairs... Hahaha..

Outside the palace

Some shops selling fabrics and one thing i realized about thos area was that it was organized in such a way if i entered a steel alley then all the shops are selling steels, fabrics in one alley and etc.. Easier for people to buy things i guess.

Just outside the entrance to the palace.

Next stop was the mosque (if i remembered correctly or was it lunch??)

I've shared a story about this mosque in my fb acc. Here's the post

Later, we had lunch at one of the most popular restaurant in Old Dhaka. More Briyani...

When we entered the restaurant few waiters came to us and wallah finally we met a Bengali who speaks Malay.. I had a conversation with my brother asking whether or not we're going to find anyone who can speak Malay and wallah... Its our lucky day... Ordering for food became a lot more easier...

I love watching how people there ate their food.. They took lot of rice either briyani or white rice, chicken/meat and vegetables.. And they'll make sure their plate is super clean. Nothing left on the plate. At least that's how our guide take his meal, and so do the drivers..

While waiting for our lunch or was it we're done already?? Nevermind..
The food was good, the service was good. Dad told us it was cheap and affordable and we take alot....

Taking our time strolling down the road...

Some desserts next to the restaurant.. We asked for permission to take pics...
Hahahaha because we're not sure if we're allowed to do it or not there...

Ok will continue later...
